NEW YEAR, NEW ME!!!! Don’t just say it but 100% be about it! C’mon girl, there are only 2 months until the New Year! Do you know what that means? It means there is no better time than to set some goals and smash them! This is YOUR year to be healthier and sexier than ever! Guess what, I’m here to help!

My 10 New Years Resolution Tips
Set a realistic yet challenging goal
For example, making it to the gym every day, attending 10 group fitness classes a month, doing 20 push-ups or pull-ups consecutively, running a 5k, dropping 10 pounds, etc.
I highly recommend an activity tracker app for your smartphone or smartwatch to track your daily steps. Shoot for 10,000 steps a day!
Create a new grocery list & organize your pantry
Support your local soup kitchen and donate the cans and goods collecting dust.
Print or save off healthy recipes to jumpstart you in the kitchen

Stop program hopping & comparing yourself to others
This is your year to improve you and it’s time to stick to 1 plan! Jumping from fad to fad or plan to plan will leave you feeling confused and defeated! No more comparing yourself to others in the gym either! Focus on you this year and the positive progress you are making!
Track your progress in multiple ways
I am not a huge fan of the scale but it can be a good measurement tool to track progress but it should not be the only tool you use. Please do not discredit your hard work if you don’t immediately see the scale drop. I recommend taking body measurements and progress pictures too!
Find a support group
Did you know you are 10x more likely to achieve your goals when backed by a support group? My Mother Strong League and 4-week challenges were invented with exactly that in mind! For more information click here.
Water is essential to fat loss & dehydration causes us to think we are hungry when we really are not! Make water your very best friend! Make a goal of drinking ½ gallon per day and work your way up to a gallon. Yes, you will be running to the restroom often in the beginning but your body will adjust quickly! You will also see improvements in your skin and energy levels! Who doesn’t love that?!?!
Tracking your Food Intake
Download a nutrition app like MyFitnessPal or MyMacros and begin tracking your food intake. So many of you have come to me and said “OMG Nathalia! I had no idea I was consuming so little protein!” or “Omg Nathalia! My lunch is nearly 100% carbohydrates!” Once you make yourself aware of what you are putting in your mouth and start eating a more balanced diet it will be much easier to stick to your plan!
Make a weekly schedule
When will you make time for you to get your workout in? Will it be early in the mornings, during your lunch break, while the kids’ nap, after work, or at kids’ extracurricular activities?
